Sikh Fundamentals

Sikhs are always ready to help people in need around the world.

Langar

Langar is a community kitchen in the Sikh tradition. The concept of Langar is to provide everyone in need of food, irrespective of their caste, class, religion and gender, is always welcome as the Guru’s guest.

Sewa

Sewa means ‘selfless service’. It involves acting selflessly and helping others in a variety of ways, without any reward or personal gain. It is a way of life for many Sikhs and is part of their daily routine. It helps Sikhs to become gurmukh and show their faith towards Waheguru.
